Hand-knitted and finished with a hand-sewn woven shamrock patch. Each beanie is made to order, helping to reduce waste and promote our sustainable, slow-fashion ethos. As these beanies are handmade, no two are ever exactly alike, each carrying its own character, just like the Irish language itself!

Perfect for everyday wear, gifting, or showing your love for Irish heritage.

  • Hand knitted in Wexford, Ireland
  • 100% premium acrylic yarn
  • Adult, Unisex. One size fits most

Gaeilge

Is ceiliúradh ar cheardaíocht agus ar theanga na hÉireann é an Beanie Oidhreachta ó GaelMade.

Tá a gcarachtar féin ag gach ceann acu, díreach cosúil leis an nGaeilge féin!

Ar fáil i réimse dathanna

Méid do Dhuine Fásta. Oireann sé do chách.

Oiriúnach don chaitheamh laethúil, mar bhronntanas, nó chun do cheangal le hoidhreacht na hÉireann a léiriú.

Washing and Care | Níochán agus Cúram

Hand wash gently in cool water. Use mild detergent only. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Reshape while damp and lay flat to dry. Store folded to help maintain the shape.

Nigh de láimh go réidh in uisce fuar. Úsáid glantach éadrom amháin. Ná húsáid tuaradh. Ná triomaigh i dtriomadóir. Tabhair cruth dó arís agus fág é ina luí go cothrom chun triomú. Stóráil fillte chun an cruth a choinneáil.

How to care for your GaelMade tote bag

Follow these simple steps to keep your tote bag looking its best for years to come.

1

Understanding fabric pilling

Pilling is a natural occurrence where small fibres form on the fabric surface due to friction during use. This is completely normal for fabrics.
2

Use a pilling remover tool

Gently glide a fabric shaver or pilling remover over the affected areas. Work in small circular motions to remove bobbles and loose fibres without damaging the fabric.
3

Wash with care

Where possible, wipe down with a damp cloth to clean. If you must machine wash, do a 20 to 30 degree cold wash with similar colours on a short cycle (15 to 30 minutes). Turn inside out before washing to protect the print. Use a gentle cycle and avoid harsh detergents. Air dry flat or hang to dry.
4

Air dry naturally

Lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight. Avoid tumble drying as heat can cause shrinkage and increase pilling.
